About the Program

You have clients that will eventually need assistance or want to downsize and move where help is available; or they may have a medical incident or accident that leaves them no choice but to move. There are a lot of details to consider when looking for the best placement since each situation and person is unique.

We are going to cover:

  • priorities of a hospital or rehab facility when it is time to discharge
  • types of residential placements for older adults needing assistance
  • levels of care -ways to pay for placement or care (Long-term care insurance, ALTCS, VA, reverse mortgage)
  • how to find the best placement for your clients websites, placement agents -alternative ways to have care and stay at home
  • things to consider before you commit
